Review of “Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano”

The other day ago I felt like eating Italian food, and I just remembered that there was a new Italian restaurant opening just down the street. I thought, I should go there, and while I’m there, I might as well write a review about it. So, I headed down to “Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano”, and as always when I’m in an Italian place, I ordered my usual. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the place. I thought it was just a small place, but before my eyes, there was a huge restaurant with all the food you could wish for on the menu. And, here’s what I thought of it.

So, as I already said, when I entered the place, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The place was huge, and the atmosphere was extremely friendly. I thought that, being a new restaurant, it would be half-empty, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The place was packed, but not in a bad way. It was full, but there was still enough place for everyone. The place is really elegant and comfortable, a real Italian place with an Italian welcoming. They know that people are going to spend an hour there, so they wanted you to enjoy that hour.[/p]

The place was clean spotless, and it looks as if they’re doing a great job there. The manager knows what he’s doing, because I couldn’t find anything there that seemed out of place, or that seemed wrong in any way. The utensils are really great, and the chairs were extremely comfortable. Like I said, they know what they’re doing.

And then came the waiter, a really pleasant Italian guy. He wasn’t pushy, as you would find in some places, but waited very patiently for me to order, even offering me some of the specials, but again, not in a pushy way. He spoke English fluently, and his Italian accent added to the charm of the place. He knew all the answers to the questions I’ve asked him; it’s as if he was the chef, and not the waiter.

And then the meal came. The waiter brought it by rather quickly, which is a great thing in my book. There was no need for that long wait, when you just don’t know what to do, so you grab your phone and start reading 3-month old texts. Apart from the fact that the food came very quickly, it was also delicious. And the most important thing is the fact that it wasn’t so expensive. When I saw how elegant the restaurant was, I thought that the priced would be enormous. But, they, weren’t; they were perfect for such a place.

Before going home, I asked the waiter to point me to the bathroom to wash my hands (and to see if the bathroom was clean or not). And just as I suspected, it was spotless. Well, I guess that now I have a new favorite Italian restaurant, and with all the positives to it, how could it not be it?

Portrait of hostess with menus in restaurant

If you’re a restaurant owner, you need to know how to host it properly. No one wants to go to a restaurant that is hosted badly, and everyone loves a nice restaurant host, just like everyone loves a great plumber, or like everyone enjoys when an excellent Cincinnati roof repair service is fixing your roof; then, you know you can’t go wrong with that choice.

However, this appears to be rather difficult to some people, and it looks as if they need someone to tell them all about hosting a restaurant. And, here it is, for all those hosts who don’t exactly know how to host a restaurant, we give you some tips that should help you out.

The first thing that every good restaurant host needs to do is to keep track of every single station. The best way for this is to make a chart of it and then learn the layout of the stations by heart. Then, once you know where each station is, you need to know how to memorize who is occupying it, what are they having, and at what time they arrived. That way, you’ll know everything about each station. It seems difficult, but every good host needs to know this.

In order to be a good restaurant host, you need to know how to handle people. You can’t be rude, and you always have to be pleasant. There is no need for you to ask them about their day and stuff, but try to look as if you care about them, and you do nothing to make them think less of you.

When the people come to your restaurant, you really ought to welcome them, take their to their seats, and see how many of them will be at the table. However, at that time, you shouldn’t ignore other guests, so try to figure out how much time each guest should take from you. It is different for every restaurant, so this is something you have to figure out for yourself.

Once the guests have sat down, you ought to give a menu to them. You can place it on the table if front of them, or give it to them in hand. But the most important thing is to kindly tell them that the menu is here, and not to just leave it there without uttering a word.

When it comes to food, you need to keep track of all the supplies, and inform the manager if you need some of them. You must do this in advance, or else you might run out of supplies while the chef is mid-way making a meal.

Also, you need to make sure that everything is in its place, that everything is clean, and that the guests are always handles excellent. Seeing how you are one of those people who are taking care of guests, if you see that one of them needs something, you help him out anyway you can.

These tips came to our mind after visiting a restaurant called “Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano”, and if you play your cards right, you can be as successful as the host of this restaurant.
